The Director is the lead position within the state level Oregon Center for Career Development in Childhood Care and Education (OCCD). The Director has primary responsibility for all core administrative operations including personnel management for 32 employees and financial management for $7.7 million biennial budget. Work is performed in an office environment of joint decision-making with advice and guidance from state advisory committees.
