Do you love working with young children and creating joyful, engaging experiences? Are you looking for a part-time opportunity in a peaceful, child-centered environment? We are seeking a nurturing and reliable Extended Day Teacher to lead our afternoon program for children ages 12 months to 6 years old.

Our after-school program continues that spirit—offering children a warm, relaxed space to wind down with meaningful play, outdoor time, crafts, and stories.
? About the Role
The Extended Day Teacher oversees the school’s aftercare program once the school day ends at 3:00 PM. Responsibilities include:
Leading engaging, age-appropriate activities such as music and storytelling
Supervising and ensuring the safety of children during free play and transitions
Making sure cleaning and laundry is completed
Maintaining a calm, respectful tone consistent with Montessori principles
Collaborating with other staff to ensure a smooth handoff from the school day to aftercare
? Requirements
EEC Teacher Qualification (Required)
Experience working with young children (toddlers or preschoolers)
