 - Require a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Early Childhood education or Bachelor of Arts/Science (BA/BS) in Elementary Education with twelve (12) hours child development. Relevant professional child care experience can substitute for the required degree on a year-for-year basis. - Require ten (10) years of experience working in a child care setting with a minimum of five (5) years in a supervisory role, and a minimum of one (1) year of experience working with budgets/financial management or business operations. - Require Florida Child Care Director credential. 
 Preferred Qualifications 
 - Prefer demonstrated ability in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships. - Prefer demonstrated ability to analyze problems and consistently follow through to solution. - Prefer demonstrated ability to take initiative and exercise independent judgment, decision-making, and problem solving expertise. - Prefer demonstrated leadership skills and understanding of group processes, teamwork, and cost center based management. - Prefer demonstrated effective oral and written communication skills at all levels.</description>

 The Assistant Director serves as the first line of support for teachers and families while helping maintain a nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for young children.

 Key Responsibilities 
 Daily School Operations 
 
 Manage opening/closing procedures, staff coverage, and daily workflows

 Support implementation of the Launch Learning curriculum

 Support staff communication and resolve minor workflow challenges
