This is a ground-floor opportunity to help design, create and establish a high quality early childhood program that will comply with NAEYC accreditation standards from Day One. The center director will be responsible for ensuring that day-to-day operations comply with Texas licensing standards and NAEYC accreditation standards.  Because this is a new program, the director will work closely with the executive director of the sponsoring organization to create policies and procedures, equip classrooms and playgrounds, recruit and hire staff, help promote the program within the community, communicate with families and manage enrollments. Must have at least a bachelor's degree in early childhood education/child development and at least three years experience teaching young children. Experience in an NAEYC accredited program preferred.
