Create and set up a developmental, age appropriate, sensory, tactile yard environment that is in alignment with the classroom thematic calendar • Supply and refill depleted yard inventory of regular supplies i.e., gallon paint, sensory tubs, toy bins, first-aid back pack, ouch reports, etc. • Inventory program supplies (yard teacher – to be submitted by 3 p.m. on the 15th of every other month beginning in August) • Create weekly lesson plans that reflect an outdoor extension of classroom theme and program philosophy • Lesson plan activity prep, package and store prior to incoming week • Provide staff breaks as per daily schedule, i.e., a.m., lunch, p.m. • Collection of morning snack trays from each classroom • The cleaning and disinfecting of all equipment and related snack items i.e., utensils, bowls, drink containers, serving trays, cart, etc. • Delivery of hot lunch program to all classrooms • Walkie-talkie potty patrol coverage • The cleaning/disinfecting and organizing of all equipment and toys • Facilitate Day Care Sign in/out procedures (yard teacher) • Plan and facilitate age appropriate after school daycare activities that are in alignment with program philosophy (yard /daycare facilitator) • Maintain and facilitate enrichment class sign in/out procedures (yard teacher) • Organizing of toys and equipment assuring all is in good order and repair per licensing standards on a daily basis • Clean, organize, and maintain equipment sheds (yard: two sheds) (yard: three sheds) • Assist Preschool Director as needed in any capacity i.e., including classroom sub as needed • Present chapel lesson(s) per thematic annual calendar
12 Early Education Units required along with a strong desire to work in a Christian environment.
