Saint Paul’s Doyle Towne is a well-respected early learning center located in beautiful Clearwater, Florida. Dedicated to offering joyous learning experiences, we are looking for highly motivated teachers to inspire and be part of a collaborative team.
Positions are available in our Infant (2-12 months),Waddler (one to two years old) and Toddler (two to three year old) rooms. Saint Paul’s runs a co-teaching model, with two expert teachers working collaboratively to deliver quality, child-centered learning experiences for all learners. Recent early childhood graduates are encouraged to apply.
Develop and deliver curriculum founded on the school’s philosophies whilst following childcare regulations
Help develop co-teaching goals for the school and its teachers
Create positive learning environments including resources based on child-directed learning, Reggio-Emilia approach and other emergent curricula
Develop strategies to guide positive children's behavior
Build good, open communication with children, families and staff
Observe and record children's growth, development and behavior using electronic portfolios and learning stories
Ensure the learning environment is clean, hygienic and safe
Good classroom management and supervision skills
Preferred: Bachelor Degree
Required: Associate Degree or CDA
An approved early childhood teaching qualification, preferably a Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood)
Experience working in a childcare setting
Fantastic organizational and teamwork skills
Sound written and verbal communication skills
A good level of computer literacy
Current First Aid certificate with anaphylaxis and asthma training
Ability to pass a Level 2 FBI Background Check
US work authorization
