School/Center Overview The Business Services Division (BSD) supports the individual and collective needs of the Penn community by promoting a hospitable, customer-friendly campus environment through the provision of mission-critical services and essential operations. Duties Lead curriculum vision, planning and implementation consistent with the best practices in early childhood education and the highest standards of NAEYC
Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or Elementary Education, Masters in ECE strongly preferred.
Experience with curriculum development and developmentally appropriate practice, including a minimum of five (5) years teaching experience in Early Childhood Education.
Knowledge of NAEYC, Keystone Stars and PA Early Learning Standards or equivalent.
Demonstrated expertise in writing and reviewing lesson plans, observing classroom lessons & coaching/mentoring teachers.
Strong leadership, communication and collaboration skills.
Knowledge of development screenings and assessments.
Fluency in using technology in teaching.
Ability to meet the physical requirements of position which include lifting children, pushing strollers/buggies, sitting on the floor and year-round daily outdoor activities, with or without an accommodation.
