Kodo is seeking a Senior Account Sales Executive to help us grow our brand presence and market share in the early childhood education market. This role will work closely with the Director of Sales to grow the brand, generate leads, and support our overall sales business. The ideal candidate is a passionate, highly motivated, and engaging sales professional with exceptional sales skills and a love for children, learning, and education. As a Senior Account Sales Executive you will cultivate relationships with early childhood education programs nationwide. On a daily basis you will be making sales calls and participating in a variety of product presentations and attending trade shows. To make the most of this opportunity, you will need a dynamic personality, top-notch communication skills and excellent follow-thru.
Salary: $60k + bonus
Generate, drive, and support sales campaigns
Create strategic and tactical plans to generate sales opportunities
Develop and maintain pipeline within CRM database
Attend local and national trade shows and events
Develop strong relationships with key contacts to expand market-share
Collaborate with education and marketing departments on the development of sales collateral, including flyers, sales sheets, handouts, and catalogs
Monitor industry trends and funding information
Create awareness, build relationships with key targets, and develop/pursue leads
Drive the process of working with the sales team to identify, qualify and win opportunities
Drive sales opportunities to address client’s business requirements and issues, both externally with clients and internally with account teams
Ideal Qualifications and Candidate Traits:
5-7 years of sales experience developing and implementing effective B2B sales strategies
Background/experience in education, specifically early childhood education
Advanced knowledge in developing and implementing a sales plan and campaigns
Highly motivated to effectively move customers through the sales process, and close opportunities
Excellent communication skills to build and maintain customer relationships
The ability to generate and interpret analytical reports measuring performance and offering strategies based on the findings
Excellent organizational skills
Strong working knowledge of CRM software
Driven to help build a top-notch, effective sales program with unlimited growth potential
You thrive in a fast-paced environment
Ability to think creatively and foster out-of-the box thinking with regards to tactics, channels and messaging
