Bright Horizons seeks a National Field Director to conduct the daily responsibilities of operating a child care center in accordance with Bright Horizons and other designated quality standards. The National Field Director can be based anywhere across the continental United States to provide support at Bright Horizons’ programs across the country!
The National Field Director recommends changes to improve child care program operations, incorporates the Bright Horizons’ company mission, culture, goals, values, philosophies and policies, and creates and maintains an inclusive environment and positive relationships with families, staff and clients in centers where a permanent director is not in place. A National Field Director will review important decisions with the regional manager of the assigned center, and may represent the company as the day to day contact with a client and the local community to ensure the program meets client and community needs.
What we hope you will bring to the role:
Bachelor’s degree preferred. An education plan for obtaining a degree within 5 years is required if field director has less than a Bachelor’s degree.
CDA or 9 credit hours/120 clock hours/12 CEUs required. Must meet state educational requirements for director, and additional center/school requirements may apply.
3 to 5 years of management/leadership experience and additional infant, toddler, or preschool teaching experience and actual administration of a child care center required.
A willingness/ability to travel and be away from home for extended periods of time are required. Arrangements will be made to travel home every two weeks.
Strong leadership, communication, organizational and fiscal management skills required.
Proficiency with technology and business operations, such as HRIS, timekeeping, enrollment tracking and billing.
Excellent customer service skills and the ability to create partnerships with families and staff.
Telecommuting is allowed.
