The Pals with Paws program, introduced in 2009, is a progressive and innovative program that uses specially trained dogs in order to help our students find comfort, and open up to their therapeutic treatment. Working with trained and certified pet therapy handlers, the dogs are used in educational and therapeutic capacities with the children in classroom and one-on-one settings. This special therapy program employed by our clinicians and educators operates with the goal of improving therapeutic and educational outcomes and aspirations.
