Duties include but are not limited to:
Ability to develop and implement Instruction for PreK students
Ability to support young learners through large group, small group, and individualized lessons
Ability to plan creative, hands-on lessons
Willingness to abide by NAEYC's code of ethical conduct
Demonstrated basic computer skills
Strong communication skills essential
Knowledge of Creative Curriculum a plus
Experience with Teaching Strategies GOLD a plus

Be free from any history of assault charges or substantiated cases of child abuse or neglect.
Be at least 19 years old.
Have successfully earned a Bachelor of Science degree in early childhood education or a related field.
Provide professional references that can verify work experience.
Submit a current health assessment.
Be eligible to work in the United States.

About NASA Goddard Child Development Center
NASA Goddard Child Development Center opened its doors in June of 1973, committed to the purpose of combining quality childcare with excellence in early childhood education. GCDC is licensed by the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) as a nonpublic nursery school with an educational program for children ages 2 to 4 years of age. We are also certified by MSDE as a private school to include a kindergarten program. Located in Building 90 on the Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC) campus, GCDC can support 122 children. GCDC offers one kindergarten classroom, two pre-kindergarten classrooms, three 3- to 4-year-old preschool classrooms, and two 2-year-old classrooms.
