University Temple Children’s School is seeking an Executive Director to lead the school and its community. The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator and relationship builder across multiple audiences including parents, staff, children, the board of directors and the community; possess a deep commitment to early childhood education; be skilled at hiring, developing and retaining exceptional staff; have the ability to think strategically and manage change; and be able to balance strong and decisive leadership while empowering and building teams. UTCS is looking for a special leader who has a genuine commitment to early childhood education, demonstrates solid business acumen, and shares the core values of the UTCS community.
Specifically, we are seeking an individual who meets Washington State Administrative Code License requirements for Director, has a Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, and three to five years experience in a senior leadership position at a high quality, child-care facility. A Masters Degree would be preferable.
Additional Salary Information: This is a full time exempt position reporting to the Board of Directors and requiring the ability and willingness to work agreed upon evening and weekend hours. UTCS is proud to offer a competitive salary, dependent upon qualifications and experience, ranging from $60-80K. Salary is negotiable.
